10-4. i'll try to have it going his way by tomorrow's mail, providing i can reach him by then. oh, and i just picked one of these up: ![]() as of today, (10/9/09) the EBAY seller has SEVEN packs left now, after my purchase. it cost me $26.99. (that includes the shipping) this should give me one to sample, and one to keep sealed. thanks for turning me onto this great cassette!! I know where you can get some 100s but they aren't cheap. I can get 10.

Ouch. oh well. that's pretty much what i paid for those two 74s.
i think i'll be sticking to those two copies; one to use and one to keep sealed for the time being. BTW: GRAFFIAS up there hasn't rang me yet. the tapes are all ready to go, i'm just waiting on him, is all... i just sent the tapes out, first class, yesterday (10/14/09)
i also recorded my "THE VENUS WARS" soundtrack onto one of those DENON HD-8s i recently bought. superb results. perhaps a touch more background hiss than my TYPE-II reference, the MAXELL XL-IIS. otherwise, these DENONs are quite competent TYPE-IIs. still, the MAXELL remains my reference... ![]() This post has been edited by MacGyver on October 15, 2009 06:30 am -------------------- PIONEER VSX-D1S TOTL 130w/ch.
