I finally have the other Flair loaded with the L80T upper drivers. One of my 035TiA tweeters was dead. A buddy more familiar with this tweeter told me what to look for and I managed to get it going again.
I really like the changes to the sound. The bright edginess that makes the LE25 a tiresome listen is gone. I think the coated cone of the L80T's 104H2 midrange makes for a smoother listen than the LE5's paper cone. At last, I'm enjoying the Flairs to the full potential. I am playing a fixed output CDP directly into my McIntosh MC2100. This transformer coupled amp really makes for smooth listening and compliments my newly configured Flairs well.
